Emuche is a Nigerian-American digital illustrator, New-York based digital illustrator and art director. Formally trained at the Art Institue of Chicago, he works with magazines, newspapers, design firms, and advertising agencies.
In his spare time Emuche enjoys working as an art teacher in both schools and prisons.
The foundation of Emuche’s art is rooted in both American and African culture. The vibrant colors of African art influence the palettes of his work. Combining themes of western culture and daily life with the bright, saturated colors that the African Diaspora is known for; Emuche creates a surreal sense of space and energy.
Emuche exhibits his newest collection of designs at SURTEX in May at The Javits Centre in New York. Booth #3233
